Life lately...

It’s been a while between posts, emails, blogs and updates; so here’s a little note from me.

The year has swiftly got away and as we near the end of another I’m beginning to recap!

Business things;

I’ve intentionally slowed down my family photography this year to focus on the kids and farm (Bess’s first year of school, Billy’s first year of kinder). And it’s been nice to not have to juggle so many balls, although I really don’t like turning enquiries away!

And I’ve placed more of a focus on small business and brand photography, as it’s achievable during proper work week days and not on weekends!! Other photographers you’ll understand me there, unicorn stuff!

My love for fashion and interior photography has grown, and I’m finding a little niche there, so thankyou to my returning clients in those fields. Including local Airbnb’s, my dream is to one day have my own, so I love our conversations and gaining super thrifty ideas for saving money whilst doing it - as well as ogling everyone’s hidden talents for styling!! Oh my goodness, we have some creative people in our communities.

Moving forward into next year, we’ll hopefully be building a house - so again, photography may take a back seat. But if you’re a family or business wanting some photos, it’s never too early to get in touch.

And finally, the love you have shown my print store this year has made my heart burst!! It’s a big thing putting your art out into the world to be judged, liked or not…so thankyou to each and every one of you who has purchased a print from me this year. There will be a new print release coming early next year that is currently in the works, so keep an eye out for that!
